Your Role

Do you want to lead Management Support with responsibility for legal and security issues? Then we can offer you a challenging and varied job in a leadership position alongside knowledgeable colleagues.

As the Chief Legal Officer, you will have overall responsibility for legal and security issues as well as support and advice to the Director General and the authority in administrative legal matters. You will also be responsible for property law issues, including the acquisition and disposal of real estate. Furthermore, you will be responsible for the development and follow-up of the authority's legal work and value framework, as well as providing strategic support in development and change work. The Chief Legal Officer is responsible for coordinating the preparation of decisions made by the board or the Director General and is responsible for a final legal review and suitability assessment prior to these decisions. You will represent the authority in external contexts such as contacts with other authorities, the Government Offices, and in legal proceedings. The units for property law, archive and information management, as well as security and protection are currently included in the area of responsibility.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who has:

  • A law degree and has completed court clerk training
  • Many years of managerial experience where you have achieved good results
  • Solid experience as an employer representative
  • Experience working with collaboration and dialogue both within and outside the organization
  • Broad experience of qualified work within public administration
  • Very good legal knowledge, especially in administrative law

It is meritorious if you have:

  • Judicial training
  • Experience from working in a law firm or a similar role within another authority or property management organization
  • Experience leading through other managers
  • Experience in management group work
  • Knowledge of property law issues
  • Had an active role in security and protection work.

You are secure in your role, have high integrity, and good judgment. You have the ability to create and maintain good relationships. With a very good analytical ability, you can see solutions in complex issues and coordinate various interests that you can summarize, illustrate, and present in an educational manner. Furthermore, you are a skilled negotiator and have very good oral and written communication skills.

Employment form: The position is a permanent full-time employment. SFV applies fixed-term managerial appointments.

Location: Stockholm

Start date: By agreement

Possibility for remote work: There is an opportunity to work part of the time remotely.
